Turbo pendant is a distinct and well thought out lamp based on the visorline-principle. That means that the lightbulb is screened and the lightning has no blinding effect. The lamp is build by 12 identical spiral shaped segments made of aluminium. The segments exterior follow the face of a globe. The Spiral segments are placed vertically which limits cleaning. The Turbo´s lighting qualitiy is elegant, gentle and playful. The contrast between light and shadow forms gently the aestetics of the lamp. Nominated at Hannover exhibition ’Die gute Industriform’ in 1973 ’Turbo’ got international acknowledgement and received the award/prize IF73.
